"It's not a conifer" says Daz
With last weeks game at Wetherby called off, we were able to catch Daz Ekin at the reserve fixture at Aldborough Road, where we discussed the effect the terrible weather was having. After the match and seven pints of John Smiths, he had this to say : "Have you seen the tree in my garden? The wind's blown it completely over. Our Ali's gutted 'coz it's the one we put the outside Christmas lights on". When pushed further, he added "I don't know what it is, but it's not a conifer". Asked if the weather was having any other effects, he stated gloomily that "the tiles on our Claire's roof came off an' all. I just do not know how they missed the cars on the drive".
