 28/02 - Vinno Injury Update
As he continues to convalesce, Vinno gave us the latest on his injury. "I had the scan last week which has shown I have torn my medial ligament. They have said that I should hopefully be able to start running in about 6 weeks. The knee feels a lot better, and I can run now but only very short distances, but I'm nowhere near being able to kick a ball. I did contemplate hanging up my boots, however it is torture watching especially when we are 2-1 down against Ripon."
The picture above is the tackle that caused the problem. Everyone who has ever kicked a ball in anger will appreciate how Paul was just unlucky with the way that the Railway player Harris has a firm plant on the pitch and he hasn't.
