16 Jul - AGM

On Wednesday 8th July Boroughbridge AFC held their AGM. The meeting was opened by acting Chairman Ian Paffett. A financial report was presented by Doug Grubb and a general report from Club Secretary Dale Binns was also given. Points of interest from the meeting can be seen below. The season starts on:
15th August - West Yorkshire Leagues
22nd August - Harrogate League
23rd August - Claro Leagues
In this first part of the season the first team have a minimum of two evening matches and the Reserves will probably have one evening match, the 'A' team has an evening match on Thursday 27th August. Boroughbridge AFC will continue to run a Sunday Reserve team but the main focus of this team will be players in the 16 to 19 age range and anyone interested in joining this progressive set up should contact Tony Coles on 07712770989. At the other end of the age spectrum the Club have formed a Veterans Team ( no not the 1st team ) who have been accepted into the York Corinthians Veterans League and will be managed by Chris Lambert and Dave Snelling. They will play six home matches during the course of the season. 'Bridge will start a series of pre-season friendlies on 28th July against Doncaster Intermediates at Aldborough Road. Boroughbridge AFC are currently seeking a Sunday Reserve team manager and club members willing to join the Club Committee which meets once every fortnight.
