BOROUGHBRIDGE 'A' 3 BECKWITHSHAW SAINTS RES. 4
Despite recent results Bridge started the game positively and their attacking play was rewarded on 32 minutes with a strike from Ross Mardon. This was consolidated four minutes later with another Mardon goal only for a good first half performance to be spoilt by a Dan Bracewell goal two minutes before the break. Bridge were the denied restoring their two goal advantage a minute later when Liam Bannard was thwarted by an excellent save from Sam Moore which proved pivotal on 57 minutes after poor communication between keeper and defence allowed Rob Kaslow to slip in the equaliser. Bridge's response was immediate and three minutes later a Wayne Fisher strike put them back in front only for Bracewell to add his second with 15 minutes remaining. The home side pressed forward but they allowed themselves to be exposed at the back and Saints took full advantage with a Luke Bedford goal stealing the points eight minutes from time.
