Bridge got their season off to a good start and in an evenly contested game they snatched the points in the last minute. They took a fortuitous lead when Rovers keeper Paul Diamond was left flat footed by one of his own players but Rich Hunt levelled for the visitors before the break. Both sides missed some good opportunities and with the game seemingly heading for a draw Andy O'Hare came up with the winning goal in the last few seconds of the game.
