Despite the scoreline both sides had some good chances but a mixture of sound goalkeeping, goal line clearances and some glaring misses left both Managers to look back on what might have been. James Cooper on debut for Bridge made two fines early saves and at the other end Tom Ekin was denied by a miraculous goalline clearance from Francis Wilson. Undoubtedly the chance of the half fell to Danny Waters who outpaced the Bridge defence only to be denied by a brilliant save from Cooper. Bridge started well in the second half with Johnny Richardson missing two good chances and Tony Lazzari saving a Paul Scaife free kick but it was Harlow who finished the stronger with Simon Sunley missing a great opportunity to win the game five minutes from time.
