STREET WORK SOCCER 0 BOROUGHBRIDGE 4
On paper this result looks like a Bridge renaissance but don’t be fooled by the margin of victory as for long spells Bridge were given a torrid time by the previously unbeaten Street Work.  Andy Layton and a Paul Vincent penalty gave Bridge a 2-0 interval lead and the home side missed some great opportunities, including a penalty, to get back into the game early in the second half. It got worse for Street Works when a mishit Walbrook shot took a vicious bounce over keeper Johnny Miah's head and their misery was compounded further when Stuart Henry added a fourth.
