BOROUGHBRIDGE RES 2 LEEDS CITY ADELERS 0.
A brace from Ollie Bone and some outstanding goalkeeping from Alastair Hogg gave Bridge the points in a game they were outplayed for long periods. Bridge took the lead when Ross Mardon cut back inside his marker and crossed for Bone to knock in the opener with the second coming through the young midfielder chasing a lost cause and nicking the ball out of Adelers' keeper Tony Cooper's grasp. The visitors were far from happy with the decision and their frustrations were intensified in the second half when they had a seemingly good goal disallowed for offside. At other times however Adelers showed they are one of the better sides in Division 2 with Chris Moxon and Richard Howard only denied by three top drawer saves from Hogg and on the occasion the ball got past the veteran Bridge keeper Steve Kirby was on the line to hoist it clear.
