BOROUGHBRIDGE 14 PUDSEY AMATEURS 2.
A remarkable scoreline is made the more fascinating by the fact Bridge went to Pudsey earlier this month and lost 3-2. On a playing surface conducive to good football an Ollie Uffindall brace and one from Paul Eagling put Bridge in the driving seat after only 23minutes. Three minutes Jim Cross pulled a goal back for the visitors only for them to go in shell-shocked at the break as Uffindall hit a six minute hat trick and Webster grabbed a couple in a ten minute spell before the half time. Uffindall completed his double hat trick on 52minute and the scoring did not abate with the introduction of brother Matt who grabbed himself a brace within 7 minutes of coming on. Ross Mardon then had the misfortunate of putting through his own goal for Pudsey's second before the Uffindall completed the scoring with Ollie taking his tally to eight and Matt completing his hat trick with a last minute penalty.
