BOROUGHBRIDGE RES 2 HAMPSTHWAITE 2.
A competent first half performance saw Bridge take a deserved 2-0 lead but once the visitors pulled a goal back they grew in confidence and could easily have snatched all three points. 16 year old Johnny Ibbotson, in his first season, gave Bridge the lead with two well taken goals and at this stage there looked to be only one winner. Kris Reed, however, reduced the deficit before half time and when he levelled matters mid way through the second half it was Bridge who began to crumble but two fines saves from Hogg combined with some resolute defending saw them hang on for a point.
