A youthful Bridge side can have no complaints as they exited the County Sunday Cup at the first hurdle. Wrose went ahead in the 5th minute when indecision between Tony Harrison and his defence allowed to Chris Hawker to nip in for the opener.  Chris Stephenson and Danny Webster worked assiduously in midfield to get Bridge back into the game but their effort were negated when Steve Baldwin added a second as Bridge failed to clear a corner. The second half did not get off to a good start either with Bridge claiming the ball went out of play before Andy Hurd added a third in the opening ten minutes. Credit to Bridge they never gave in and eight minutes from time gained some consolation with a goal from Matt Uffindall.
