This result was never in doubt after the first 35 minutes with goals from Adam Reed (2) and brother Kris putting the home side in a comfortable position. Hampsthwaite did not add to their tally until late in the game and both goals could go down to handling errors but hitherto Rudd had produced a string of excellent saves to give the score respectability. Wayne Fisher was an injury time scorer for Bridge.
