BOROUGHBRIODGE 1 FC BOSTON 1
After recording sixteen goals in their last two fixtures this was a more keenly contested encounter between two good footballing sides with the result just about reflecting the balance of play. Boston bossed the midfield from the early stages but did not get the breakthrough until the 37 minutes when Nathan Christopher set up Danny Baeza following a swift counter attack. Paul Eagling put Bridge back on level terms three minutes into the second half and thereafter both sides had chances to win it with Andy Caine producing two fine saves for Boston and Ross Mardon (twice) and Ollie Barton clearing efforts off their own line for Bridge.
