~Match Report 2007/08~
BOROUGHBRIDGE SUNDAY RESERVES 1 - 3 DISHFORTH DIVISION 2 On a frost covered surface, Boroughbridge Reserves produced one of their best performances for many weeks. The game was in doubt until late in the day, but both sides rolled up their sleeves, and got on with it. Boroughbridge took control immediately, and only fine goalkeeping from James Lee in the Dishforth goal saved them from a 'cricket score'. He saved brilliantly from Gary Watts on three occasions, twice from Johnny Ibbotson, and the talented Matt Uffindall kept him busy all game. Dishforth had three shots and scored on three occasions( Shaun Taylorson 52 & 67)(Mark Trowler 22). The Boroughbridge goal was excellently finished by Matt Uffindall, who worked tirelessly all game. Man of the match went to the excellent Craig Tetley, who also produced the miss of the game. Once again, well done to all the lads on an excellent team display. |
