SHERWOOD 6 BOROUGHBRIDGE 2

Craig Kitching's decision to stand down as Manager certainly did not help Bridge's performance which was well below par. Their situation was exacerbated further by the unavailability of Hogg, Tony Harrison and Ollie Barton leaving 17 year old Josh Kidd with the responsibility of the goalkeeping gloves. The young keeper only had to wait 10 minutes to pick a Matt Adamson effort out of the net and he was beaten again a minute later by Steve O'Brien. He could not be blamed for either of these efforts or further goals from Chris Travena and Kevin Kingston (2) as he was left exposed time and time again. It got slightly better with a Ben Darville goal only for Adamson to add his second before Dan Saxon ended the scoring on a miserable day for Bridge.
