The talk at the start of the month, after an excellent win against Bardsey, was for a top five finish but four successive defeats, three in the league, have put everything back in perspective for Manager Daz Ekin as his side slumped to an other humiliating loss. It did not look this in the opening half when Bridge more than matched their opponents especially in the last 20minutes of the half. In this period they had a strong penalty appeal turned down; Ben Darville shot straight at Ian Philiskirk when clear on goal; then Charles Walbrook saw the Bardsey keeper make a great save from his thunderbolt and when Paul Eagling fired home the loose ball he was ruled offside. The pivotal point in the game for Bridge was ten minutes into the second half when Paul Vincent's rehabilitation was cut short and on 58 minutes Bardsey took the lead through Liam Robinson. A second for Robinson was quickly followed by his hat trick goal on 66 minutes as Bridge capitulated under the home side's pressure. After their fourth Manager Daz Ekin had seen enough and brought on himself and Tony Coles for the last ten minutes but this did not stop Bardsey making it a nap hand seven minutes from time
