ATLANTA 1 BOORGHBRIDGE 8
Less than forty-eight hours before the League Cup Final, Bridge had gone goal crazy on their visit to Atlanta and maybe should have kept back their shooting boots for the Sunday final. They took the lead after three minutes through Ollie Uffindall with Chris Luffman equalising for the home side on the half hour. Chris Chapman restored the lead within five minutes and Uffindall added his second a minute before the break. Ten minutes into the second half Dave Burniston made it four, Uffindall added another two, including a penalty in a ten minute spell with Ben Darville and Dan Saxon completing the scoring by the 71st minute.
