Boroughbridge AFC - About The Club
Boroughbridge AFC is a local, amateur football club based in the North Yorkshire town of Boroughbridge, situated about half an hours drive from York and twenty minutes from Harrogate. We are a friendly and welcoming club, run entirely by volunteers who are passionate about the game and would welcome anybody wanting to get involved in any way, be it playing or volunteering.

Our flagship side play their football in the West Yorkshire AFL Premier Division, with a Reserve side playing in the Alliance Division One within the same league. Our third Saturday side play at Harrogate & District League level and Sunday side at Claro Sunday League level. The Club also offers Veterans football in the form of our York Corinthians League Veterans side and the Club is affiliated with the town’s very well established and respected junior football club, meaning we offer football at all levels and all ages and almost certainly have something to offer you if you are looking to get involved in local football.

Matches are free to spectate at, although a small donation in the collection is always very much appreciated. Our Clubhouse is usually open at half-time for refreshments including tea and coffee and our fully stocked bar is also open after most matches and everyone is always most welcome to join us after the match for a drink.
BAFC Online - About The Site
The website is not run by a professional web design company but we do try to make your experience on the site as enjoyable and informative as possible. We relaunched at the beginning of 2008 with a fresh look and focussed on building the content of the site, ensuring coverage for all five of our teams and highlighting news and events throughout the Club. We began to offer live in match score updates for major matches in 2011, covering both the Whitworth Cup and West Yorkshire League Cup Finals live for our readers. Our most recent relaunch happened at the beginning of the 2011/12 season and aimed to take this one step further. The entire site received a totally new look, based around both form and functionality and intended to be a base for future developments in the site. With the refresh came a new look, many new features, extended coverage and the promise of much more to come.

We are always thinking of new ways to develop the site and do as much as possible to ensure the Club we love has the strongest presence possible on the Internet. At the same time we always aim to maintain our ethos of a Club website for our Club members, and would love to hear your opinions on how the site looks. We are also constantly trying to add more information to our archives and would be very eager to hear from you if you think you can help us with this in any way. You can get in touch by e-mailing web@boroughbridgeafc.com and we will endeavor to respond as soon as possible.

The site is very well visited and offers great opportunities for companies to get their name into the local community. We offer a variety of sponsorship packages, all of which can be viewed in our ‘Sponsors’ section, or by clicking here...

Thank you for visiting Boroughbridge AFC Online, we hope you enjoyed your stay and you will visit us again soon.
