4 Apr - Results: Lost On The Road

A miserable day for 'Bridge today as both teams fell to defeat on the road and the first team suffered injuries to two key players. 'Bridge first team were 1-1 at half time because of two penalties, the match turned against us in the second half though as Leeds City scored first, we then equalised before Leeds scored twice more to seal victory. Danny Webster limped off early in the second half and Paul Eagling was carried off shortly afterwards with a nasty ankle injury. Meanwhile at Whitkirk the Reserves fell to a dismal defeat with the only highlight being a goal from Mark Burniston who has now scored in three of our last four matches.
