6 Apr - Result: 'Bridge & Bardsey Split Points

Boroughbridge AFC came within seven minutes of ending table topping Bardsey's unbeaten campaign this evening on the road, but a late Rob Dickinson goal cancelled out a 51st minute Paul Beesley strike. The result could have been so different, however, if Tom Smith's long range effort had crept inside the post mid-way through the second half instead of rebounding off the woodwork.

9 Apr - Results: Reserves Win Crunch Derby

Boroughbridge AFC Reserves remained fourth in Alliance Division One earlier today, but cut the gap to the top in half with a three goal to one victory at table topping Knaresborough Town Reserves. The top four teams in that division are now separated by just three points with Beeston having played a game more and Town a game less than chasing 'Bridge and Leeds City. Another highlight to come from the match was out of form Fraser Lancaster's first goal for the club in a number of months, and managers Daz Ekin and Steve Coghlin will be hoping this is a sign of a return to form for the talented striker. Also on target for the Reserves were the ever reliable Martin Hutchinson and in form Benjy Slator.

At Aldborough Road today, Boroughbridge AFC lost what was essentially the League Cup Semi-Final warm-up, going down by two goals to nil to Tuesday evening's opponents, Pool AFC. 'Bridge 'A' compounded a bad day at Aldborough Road with a five one loss to Harlow Hill Reserves with the home goal disputed as to attribution, with Chris Wood claiming what some believe was an own goal. The 'A' side enjoyed better luck on Thursday evening, however, winning by three goals to one against Brafferton Rangers with goals coming from Luke Fletcher, Steve Warburton and Louis Barlow.
